Partnering with DAI
We work with hundreds of institutional and organizational collaborators all over the world. If you are interested in working with DAI, registering with our Supplier Profile Database facilitates the process.
Suppliers at DAI
We are proud of the relationships we have built with our suppliers, many of whom have worked with us for years. But we are always looking to expand and diversify our supplier base.
Our industry is competitive and fast-paced, so our suppliers must be agile and flexible in responding to changing business conditions. Above all, DAI values solutions—we appreciate suppliers who understand and share this conviction, and who help us find new solutions to development challenges.
We require each of our suppliers to meet the highest standards for all services and products. We value suppliers who take the time to learn about and understand our business and look for ways to add value.
How to Apply
The first step for any supplier seeking to do business with DAI is to register with our Supplier Profile Database. If we need the type of services or supplies you provide, one of our business development or procurement specialists may contact you to explore opportunities.
If there is no immediate opportunity, your information will remain in our database. The goal is to save time should an opportunity arise to work together.
Please note that all purchases are made in the competitive marketplace. Registering your company with DAI does not automatically place your company on a “bidder’s list,” nor does it constitute approval of your firm as a DAI supplier or obligate DAI to solicit requests for quotations.
What You Will Need to Register
The registration will take approximately 15-30 minutes. You will be asked general questions about your company’s size and classification, financial standing, accounting controls, and audit history, so we recommend having this information readily accessible before beginning.
You will then have the opportunity to provide statements describing your services or products, a listing of your past performance, and additional information that may help us identify potential partnership opportunities.
Small Business Program
We are committed to partnering with small businesses and fostering their growth. By registering in DAI’s Small Business Program, companies add their names to a list of potential partners that can be quickly considered for assignments with us.
The first step in joining DAI’s Small Business Program is registering in DAI’s Supplier Profile Database. Special fields in the registration form alert our business development and procurement specialists to the availability of qualified small businesses.
If your company is a certified small business offering complementary services or supplies, we would like to hear from you.
Supplier Diversity Initiative
Our Supplier Diversity Initiative welcomes potential project partners from any and all of the following categories:
- Certified 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDBs), including minority-owned Asian American, Hispanic American, Black American, Native American-owned small businesses;
- Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) small businesses;
- Woman-Owned Small Businesses (WOSBs); and
- Veteran-Owned (VOSBs) and Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs).
If your company falls into any of these categories, we would like to hear from you.
Local Development Partner Program
We are always looking to expand our relationship with local development partners in countries across the globe. Our Local Development Partner Program enables us to begin building relationships with local partners for future work. Companies that wish to join our Local Development Partner Program should start by registering with our Supplier Profile Database. Should an opportunity arise requiring your expertise, we may contact you.
